Inspired by the smaller, delicate leaves of the Red Maple, this handcrafted necklace captures the warm colors and natural beauty of a New England autumn.

Each leaf begins as a piece of copper that is individually hand-cut, forged, textured, and shaped using traditional metalsmithing techniques. The copper is then carefully flame-painted, allowing heat to create naturally occurring variations of copper, gold, red, and deeper autumn tones.

The leaf is finished with a light coat of UV resin to help preserve its unique flame-painted coloration, then paired with a 17-inch rich brown satin cord and a 2-inch Gold PVD extender chain for adjustable wear.

Because each leaf is individually formed and flame-painted by hand, variations in color, texture, and finish are expected. Each necklace is uniquely its own.

Care

The flame-painted copper leaf is lightly sealed with UV resin to help protect its unique coloration. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, lotions, perfumes, household chemicals, and excessive heat.

Keep the satin cord dry and store the necklace in a dry place when not being worn. Gently wipe the leaf with a soft, dry cloth as needed. Do not use metal polish or abrasive cleaners on the leaf, as they may damage the resin coating or alter the flame-painted finish.
